AutoPassword ID Card

AutoPassword ID Card is a mobile ID that leverages Authenticated-Beacon technology, currently being standardized internationally, enabling mutual authentication even in offline environments. Users can first verify the identity of the party requesting their personal information, and once approved, the identity data stored on their smartphone is securely transmitted.
Unlike conventional QR code or NFC–based ID cards, which transmit the user’s identity information unilaterally, this approach enhances both security and convenience for the user. This next-generation mobile ID technology is also cost-effective, as it allows the smartphone itself to function as a reader without any additional hardware.

Key Features
Verify the Identity of the ID Requester First
AutoPassword ID Card uses Authenticated-Beacon technology (BLE with a changing authentication code every 60 seconds) to allow the ID holder to first verify the identity of the requester before submitting their personal information.
Contactless Identity Verification
Within the Bluetooth beacon range (up to 20 meters), the ID holder first verifies the identity of the person requesting access and then transmits their identity information via the mobile network, enabling safe in-person identity verification even in the COVID era.
Smartphone as a Reader
The person verifying the ID does not need to install any separate NFC or QR code reader. By simply installing a reader app on their smartphone or PC, users can verify or view the information on the mobile ID.
Expanded to Physical Facility Control
By additionally connecting the AutoPassword IoT Controller, which emits authentication beacons to physical facilities, users can control these facilities using the AutoPassword ID Card. 모바일 신분증으로 출입제어 뿐만 아니라 다양한 IoT 기기까지 제어할 수 있습니다.
Easy Deployment via Mobile
When an administrator registers a user to receive an ID card in AutoPassword Access Manager, the user receives information via SMS or email to install and register the AutoPassword ID Card.
Prevent Identity Theft Using Biometric Data
Since AutoPassword ID Card uses the biometric data stored on the smartphone, it will not function if someone steals the device but the biometric information does not match the ID holder.
